Five days ago, a creature the size of a small moon appeared in a sparsely-populated industrial region of the Rocky Mountain Line. Its arrival took the Crux system by surprise: one minute the sensors recorded only empty space, the next that previously-empty space contained something large enough to have its own gravity well.
Emissions signatures suggest that the creature emerged from blinkspace – the first recorded evidence of a natural life-form able to interact with the blink. While the creature may not exist entirely within realspace, its impact there can certainly be felt. Bemused locals, who have adopted the nickname “the Yawn,” watch its passage with a combination of dread and wonder.
Yesterday, the Yawn changed its course.
A Wake Writ In Void is a one-session mission for the Lancer tabletop RPG system by Massif Press for 3-5 players at LL6 (but can be modified to your preferences). It is able to be played using only the Lancer Core Rulebook. It was produced for the Lancer One-Shot Module Jam.

My players had a blast with this! It's got setting info in spades, tons of threads, and a pile of fun scenarios for a party to get into. You could easily make this into a two-shot between exploring Caleuche/The local system and the combat if your players are into narrative exploration. The combat also makes for a great introduction to Lancer at LL6 for players who want a taste of more advanced builds.
If you're reading this post and haven't checked this one-shot out yet, it's absolutely worth the read (and the donation)!
I'm so happy you and your group had a good time with the module! Thank you for sharing your experience with it. You can tell how much our group likes narrative play :)
Holy art batman 😮
